Simmer for 5 minutes and drain the potatoes. Put them back into the saucepan, add oil and salt, and shake vigorously. Put the saucepan into the oven and bake for 40 minutes.

Potato salad is a dish adored all over the world. It originated in Europe, but quickly spread throughout the globe. What’s great about a potato salad is that it is a really versatile dish – you can add or subtract ingredients, shaping the recipe to your taste.
A classic potato salad requires potatoes, mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, sugar, mustard, black pepper, and hard boiled eggs. To start, peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized chunks, and boil them until tender. Use a large bowl to mix mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, spices, and sugar to create a creamy sauce. Drain the potatoes, add them and chopped eggs to the sauce, and gently mix together until the potatoes are covered with sauce. Serve at room temperature!

Here is what you’re going to need: potatoes, eggs, sausage, salt, pepper, garlic, and vegetable oil. First boil the potatoes until they are almost ready, and drain them. Heat a pan, pour in olive oil, add potatoes, and cook until the potatoes are golden. Add the chopped sausage and cook for 2 minutes more. In the meantime, mix the eggs with garlic and spices. Then pour the mixture over the potatoes and fry until the eggs are ready.

To make the base for jacket potato, you only need two ingredients: whole medium sized potatoes and a bit of vegetable oil. Wash the potatoes, don’t peel them, rub a little oil over the potatoes and bake them in a preheated oven for around an hour (the cooking time depends on your stove).
