Some call it a record super car, some – a mega car, and some think of it as of a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of modern automotive industry.
One thing is clear: at the moment, Koenigsegg supercar One 1 is the fastest car in the world! And taking into account that it released in a limited edition – the rarest car in the world!

At the Geneva Motor show the Swedish company Koenigsegg opened up its supercar One:1, claiming the title of the fastest car in the world certified to drive on highways.
In the strict sense, hyper car One:1 is not a new Keonigsegg, but deeply modernized Coupe-Targa Agera R, which in turn is the next milestone in the evolution of 2002 CC8S model. However, during the existence of the firm (in 2014 it celebrated its 20 anniversary) its only supercar has changed so much that it would be immoral towards creators of novelty and the head of the company Christian von Koenigsegg to search for any similarities between the newest One: 1 and the original CC8S.

Engine and gearbox
Rear-steer two-door car is equipped with 1360-p bi-turbo motor V8 5.0, which works in a tandem with specially designed transmission with dual clutch.
Situated within the wheelbase engine consumes gasoline, mixture of gasoline and ethanol (E85), and racing fuel with high ON.
The powerful system produces unimaginable 1341 horsepower, and torque capacity reaches 1371 newton-meter at 6000 RPM torque. This is the crazy power that 7-speed robotized gearbox “digest” and passes on the rear axle.
On this coefficient Koenigsegg One:1 is very close to Formula-1 bolides, and it has the apparent superiority over the road Ferrari LaFerrari, , McLaren P1 , Porsche 918 Spyder and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Dynamics and aerodynamic characteristics
The car has a weight of 1360 kg. That is, approximately one horsepower falls on every kilogram of weight. Manufacturer calls its brainchild the world’s first “mega car”: its power at 7500 RPM reaches one megawatt.
Supercar One:1 astonishes with its dynamics: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.8 seconds. Acceleration to 300 km/h – 12 seconds, and the mark of 400 km/h supercar overcomes in 20 seconds (1001-horsepower Bugatti Veyron – for 55 seconds).
The car develops a maximum speed of 440 km/h. For driving in this unbelievable mode, the manufacturer propose specially designed Michelin Cup 2 tyres.

But most importantly – Keonigsegg One:1 is not just a “rocket” for rectilinear movement in space. Its braking system is also very impressive. Ceramic ventilated discs allow you to stop your “mega car” on a speed of 400 km/h in 10 seconds. Braking distance to a full stop on 100 km/h speed is 28 meters.
In addition, the car is equipped with suspension with the possibility of regulating ground clearance (apparently due to hydraulics) and it has active aerodynamic elements that help you create down force equivalent to 610 kg at a speed of 260 km/h. Besides, due to this, the peak lateral overload bends can reach mind-blowing 2.0 g.
Double seated “mega car” will be released in a quantity of six copies — and all six planned copies are already sold out … Two copies – in Britain, four – in China. The price of the Koenigsegg One:1 was not disclosed, but according to unofficial data, it is about $ 2 million.
